Summit Canine Physio was founded in 2023 by Bailey Patterson and was named to honour one of Bailey’s favourite agility dogs who has since passed away, Summit.

Bailey graduated from the University of Alberta in 2018 with her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. She then went on to complete her Diploma in Canine Rehabilitation through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association - a diploma program exclusively offered to licensed physiotherapists. She has spent a lot of time surrounded by high level agility competitors, which allowed her to see the immense need for canine rehabilitation services. While she does love treating sporting dogs, she treats a variety of orthopaedic conditions commonly seen in dogs and definitely has a sweet spot for some of her older furry clients!

When Bailey isn’t treating dogs or humans, you can usually find her outside doing something active with her own pup Sully.
